Insurer expands services to Colorado

WINheath will expand its network to include hospitals in Colorado, primarily those operated by University of Colorado Health.

WINhealth is a Wyoming-based health care carrier offering plans for both individuals and groups, on and off the health insurance exchange.

Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center, University of Colorado Hospital, Memorial Health System, Colorado Health Medical Group, Family Medicine Center, and the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies will join the WINhealth network as contracted in-network providers, according to a release.

University of Colorado Health operates all of these facilities except Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies.

WINhealth’s otherin-network providers are located in Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana and South Dakota.

“WINhealth is very serious about expanding our provider network in order to give our members the best options for high-quality medical care all over Wyoming and beyond,´ said WINhealth CEO Stephen K. Goldstone in a release.

With the new Colorado partnerships, WINhealth’s network includes 1,704 primary care physicians, 4,338 specialists and 41 hospitals in four states.
