Housing development could bring 1,400 new homes to Timnath

The Timnath town council on Tuesday night approved a sketch plan for a new housing development in which developers are proposing between 1,200 and 1,400 new homes.

The Coloradoan reports that the Timnath Landings development would sit on 490 acres at the northeast corner of Harmony Road and Larimer County Road 5. Developers from California and Englewood are involved in the deal.

An official for BCX Development told the paper that building would likely begin early next year, with most homes priced between $400,000 to $500,000.
