Guaranty Bank consolidating Denver, Boulder branches

Guaranty Bank and Trust Co. will consolidate branches in both Boulder and Denver and close another Denver branch in the coming months, bank CEO Paul Taylor confirmed Wednesday.

The bank’s two Boulder branches will consolidate into one large branch with a drive-through, located at 1300 Walnut St., Taylor said. The move into the new location is expected to take place in the fourth quarter once renovations, now under way, are complete.

A branch near the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village will also consolidate into a location at 6501 E. Belleview Ave.

The final branch affected by the changes is a location at 3950 Lewiston St. in Aurora. The building’s lease is nearly up, Taylor said, and the bank decided not to keep the branch open. All employees will be redistributed to other branches nearby.

The bank is also closing its branch at 4650 Royal Vista Circle in Windsor. The lease on that branch is up in June, Taylor told the Business Report in March, and the employees will be redistributed to other branches.

No jobs will be lost with the consolidations, which are pending regulatory approval.
