Greeley reports region’s highest occupancy rate

Greeley reported the highest hotel occupancy rate in Northern Colorado in March — a healthy 68.9 percent, according to the latest Rocky Mountain Lodging Report.

Loveland came in second with an occupancy rate of 61.5 percent in March.

Fort Collins had a 58.5 percent occupancy rate for the month, while Estes Park’s occupancy rate was 33 percent, the report said.

Greeley had the lowest average daily room rate in Northern Colorado at $82.69. Estes Park’s ADR was $110.94, followed by Loveland at $99.81 and Fort Collins at $85.18.

Year-to-date, Greeley has had a 70.6 percent occupancy compared to 61 percent for Loveland, 53.6 percent for Fort Collins and 26.9 percent for Estes Park.

Statewide, the March occupancy rate was 62.2 percent with an average daily rate of $137.01
