Greeley Furnace Co. building 9,600-square-foot expansion
GREELEY — Greeley Furnace Co. is constructing an expansion to its longtime home at 112 E. 30th St. in Greeley.
The furnace and HVAC company is building a 9,600-square-foot expansion on to its existing building of 2,400 square feet that will contain several units. Greeley Furnace will move a workshop where it fabricates ducts made of sheet metal to one of the new units and offer other units for lease.
A company spokesman said on Tuesday that the existing building that now houses the workshop and offices is being converted to all office space. He said the company, which has 15 employees, has been serving mainly residential customers in Northern Colorado since the 1950s is expanding into offering services to the commercial sector.

Cost of the project is not being disclosed. Greeley-based Growling Bear Co. Inc. is the general contractor. Work is expected to be completed in about a month.
