Girl, 13, dies in apparent ag accident
Kelsey Helen Graves had been dropped off by her older brother to help clean a filter on the system, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said Friday. Her brother returned to the area after he received no response to a phone call and found Graves unconscious.
He immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Other family members called 911.

Medical staff from Poudre Valley Hospital and personnel from Poudre Fire Authority arrived on the scene, and Graves was pronounced dead at 8:44 p.m. Thursday.
Graves’ death appears to be an agricultural accident, the Sheriff’s Office said, but the Larimer County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
Graves was working on the system used by Morning Fresh Dairy Farm, her mother, Lori Graves said.
The family-owned and operated dairy farm grows its own feed, milks cows, bottles milk and delivers it to homes, restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops in Northern Colorado.
The dairy farm recently lost thousands of acres in the High Park Fire, but also may have saved some homes by using its sprinklers to douse fields with water to stave off the fire.
