Fort Collins council to consider IGA regarding CSU stadium
The Fort Collins city council on March 17 will consider an intergovernmental agreement with Colorado State University regarding the new football stadium the school plans to begin building this summer.
Negotiations between the city and CSU, the Coloradoan reports, would cover issues like new infrastructure and game-day traffic flow around the $220 million facility.
CSU has $30 million budgeted for mitigation expenses on the project, and school president Tony Frank told the Coloradoan that adding to that figure wouldn’t “make or break the project.”
