Fort Collins chamber honors small businesses

FORT COLLINS – The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday announced three winners of its 2014 Small Business of the Year Awards.

Mantooth Marketing Co. won a Small Business of the Year Award in the small category for companies with 10 or fewer employees.  Aspen Grove Veterinary Care won in the medium category for businesses with 11 to 50 employees, and Green Ride Colorado won the award in the large category for businesses with 51 to 200 employees.

“Small businesses are a driving force in our community’s economy´ said David May, president of the Fort Collins chamber in a statement. “These awards give us the opportunity to acknowledge their achievements as well as give other small businesses the opportunity to learn from them.”

The awards were presented at the chamber’s annual Celebrating Small Business Awards and Luncheon held at the Fort Collins Marriott.
