FC Chamber seeking nominees for small biz awards

Nominations for the 2014 Small Business of the Year Awards are due to the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce by April 9.

Community members are encouraged to nominate small businesses affiliated with the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. Companies will be judged on community involvement and stewardship, commitment to good business practices, overall business growth and innovation, and workplace culture and employee relations. Nomination forms can be found here.

Three awards will be given out to businesses in three categories: 1 to 10 employees; 11 to 50 employees and 51 to 200 employees. To be eligible, a small business is defined as an independently owned and operated business headquartered in Northern Colorado that is organized for profit.

Hosted by the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, the awards will be presented at the Celebrating Small Business Awards & Luncheon event on May 21 at 11:30 a.m., at the Fort Collins Marriott at 350 E. Horsetooth Road.
