Everitt Center to forecast 2014 real estate market

FORT COLLINS – The CSU Everitt Real Estate Center will hold a forecast event for 2014 on Nov. 21, covering the residential and commercial markets in Northern Colorado.

The Everitt Center’s research team has been working on the forecast for the past six months, according to a release from CSU.

“We’ve identified and completed statistical analyses of the best data sources for the last 20 years and worked closely with the cities themselves as well as MetroStudy, CoStar, IRES and top industry professionals to make the forecasts for next year,´ said Everitt Center Executive Director Eric Holsapple in a statement.

The forecast will address several topics, including a potential shortage of residential lots in the coming year, major risks and upsides to area markets and whether or not the market can sustain continued cost increases.

The forecast will be held at the Embassy Suites at 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 21.
