Event covers services for small businesses

BOULDER – The city of Boulder, the Boulder Small Business Development Center and the Boulder Independent Business Alliance are hosting a free event to provide information about small-business resources from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, Jan. 31, at the George Reynolds Branch Library, 3595 Table Mesa Drive in Boulder.

The event will cover topics including financial incentives, licensing, sales and use taxes, library resources and small-business support services.

The business resource panels are a coordinated effort between the city’s Economic Vitality and Tax/Licensing divisions, the Boulder Public Library, Small Business Development Center and Boulder Independent Business Alliance. Representatives of each division/organization give a brief overview of the services and assistance available to new and growing businesses and then are available to answer questions.
