Elevations leased 2,000 square feet of space at 1526 E. Harmony Road last week, according to a release from Realtec Commercial Real Estate Services, which was involved with the transaction.
“We did pull the trigger. We’re excited,´ said Dennis Paul, a spokesman for Elevations. The company will begin putting together a team to renovate the building for its use. The building was formerly a Blockbuster video store.
Six employees will staff the branch, and financial advisers and mortgage officers from Elevations will work from the new office in Fort Collins.
The credit union was founded in Boulder in 1952 with less than $100 in assets and has grown to become a $1.3 billion institution, according to its website.
Elevations began considering potential locations in Fort Collins because of interest from members, Paul said during an interview last month.
This would be Elevations’ second branch in Larimer County, with one located at 2495 E. 13th St. in Loveland.
