Drilling contractor moving into Great Western Industrial park

WINDSOR — Helmerich & Payne Inc., an oil-and-gas drilling contractor, has leased six acres at the Great Western Industrial Park in Windsor, the BROE Group said Monday.

Tulsa-based H&P will use the acreage as a support yard to store several of its oil rigs, equipment and materials. The company joins tenants such as Halliburton, Musket Corp., Vestas and Front Range Energy.

“We are thrilled to welcome Helmerich & Payne, one of the world’s major land and offshore platform drilling contractors,” BROE Group Vice President Rich Montgomery said.

Broe Land Acquisitions II, an affiliate of the BROE Group, acquired 320 acres within the Great Western Industrial Park a year ago. The industrial park is located along the Great Western Railway, an OmniTRAX-managed company and a BROE affiliate.
