Donald Trump to hold rally at Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is returning to the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland 11 years after enlightening the crowd at a BizWest event at the arena with such nuggets of business wisdom as, “Get even. If somebody screws you, you screw ’em back 10 times over. At least you can feel good about it.”
The Reporter-Herald reports that Trump will hold a campaign rally at the events center on Monday evening at 6 p.m.
Trump’s last visit to the events center came in 2005 as a speaker at the Bixpo business expo, started that year by the Northern Colorado Business Report, which has since become BizWest. The event that year drew thousands of people to hear Trump riff on his business dealings, creating plenty of buzz with what a Northern Colorado Business Report column termed at the time “offensive comments” about women and “snide remarks about the ‘losers’ of the world.”
