DOL to offer insurance to fire victims

High Park Fire victims will find out next week whether they are eligible for disaster unemployment assistance funds.

The Colorado Department of Labor and the Employment/Unemployment Insurance Division will announce Monday the availability of funds and outline eligibility requirements. Eligible claimants will have 30 days from the announcement to apply for disaster unemployment assistance.

Unemployment insurance representatives will be present at the Larimer County Workforce Center at 200 W. Oak St., Suite 5000 in Fort Collins during the month of July.
