Developers propose 377 apartments on Boulder’s northeast corner
Dallas-based developer Trammell Crow Residential and Boulder-based Coburn Partners have teamed up on a concept plan proposing 377 apartments on a narrow stretch of land on Boulder’s northeast corner, where the Diagonal Highway meets the edge of town.
The Daily Camera reports that the plan also includes 54,000 square feet of commercial office space. Eighty-three of the apartments would designated permanently affordable for seniors. The 20-acre parcel is bordered by 47th Street to the west, Independence Road to the south, the northbound lanes of Highway 119 to the east and the stretch of highway where Foothills Parkway turns into the Diagonal to the north.
Developers, who are calling the project Alexan Flatirons, are slated to go before planning board for a concept review on May 7.
