CSU’s Temple Grandin among Agriculture Hall of Fame inductees

The Colorado FFA Foundation has named four inductees into the Farm Credit Colorado Agriculture Hall of Fame.

Colorado State University professor Temple Grandin of Fort Collins, James Odle of Brush, Don Rutledge of Yuma and Robert Tuttle of Eckert will be inducted into the hall of fame in February at an annual banquet at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver on Feb. 26.

The banquet is held in conjunction with the Governor’s Forum on Colorado Agriculture, which highlights issues facing the agricultural industry. Both the forum and the banquet are attended by industry and political leaders as well as farmers and ranchers.

WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County, was started in Larimer County in 2006 as an opportunity for women in our community to come together to help other women.

The new inductees will join 81 other Colorado agriculturists who have been honored since 1989. The Agriculture Hall of Fame members’ portraits will be displayed at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education at CSU.
