CSU’s College of Business climbs Bloomberg’s rankings

FORT COLLINS – Colorado State University’s College of Business improved to No. 73 in Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s annual rankings of the nation’s undergraduate business programs, up from No. 89 last year.

The other Colorado schools ranked in the BusinessWeek report were the University of Colorado at No. 97 and the University of Denver at No. 67.

BusinessWeek surveyed more than 91,000 graduating seniors at 132 eligible programs on such topics as the quality of teaching, access to faculty, school facilities, career services and overall student satisfaction to determine the 2014 rankings.

Researchers also asked 922 employers to list their top 20 schools based on the quality of graduates they have hired in the past five years. The more undergraduate business majors an employer hired, the more its ranking points counted for schools.
