The university has more than tripled the number of Chinese undergrads in the last three years, with 190 now enrolled. As a whole, international enrollment has increased by 39 percent (from 882 students to the current 1,226) since the 2008-09 school year, and CSU has plans to more than double that number by 2020.
CSU now has working agreements with five Chinese universities – East China Normal University, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Hunan University, China Agricultural University and Beijing Normal University. According to its website, efforts are under way to forge partnerships with schools in other countries as well.
