CSU real estate conference to examine millennials’ impact on industry

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State University’s annual Northern Colorado Real Estate Conference on Wednesday will examine the impact millennials are having and will have on the future of real estate.

The conference runs from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at The Embassy Suites in Loveland, and is presented by the Everitt Real Estate Center at CSU’s College of Business.

Elizabeth Garner from the State Demography Office and CSU economist Martin Shields will give an economic and demographic presentation highlighting numbers in Colorado. But other presentations will include “generational specialists” and other real-estate industry panelists looking at the changing real-estate landscape in Northern Colorado specifically and what is next for the industry as millennials play a larger role.

A full schedule of events and registration info can be found on CSU’s website.

In addition to the presentations, Harmony Golf Course developer Byron Collins will be honored as Real Estate Entrepreneur of the year. Real-estate attorney Tim Hasler will be inducted into the Real Estate Hall of Fame.
