Construction worker killed in fall at Village at the Peaks shopping center

A construction worker working on Longmont’s Village at the Peaks shopping center died Monday morning after falling through a hole in a roof.

The Times-Call reports that Aurora man was 39-year-old Tereso Zamarippa-Hernandez. The paper reports that it is so far unclear what factors led to the incident and that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.

Zamarippa-Hernandez was working for Erie-based Ramos Roofing Co.
