Columbine Health breaks ground on Windsor facility

WINDSOR — Fort Collins-based Columbine Health Systems has broken ground on its $11 million facility at the intersection of Main Street and 15th Street in Windsor.

The facility will be called Columbine Commons and will consist of a 62,400-square-foot development that will include skilled nursing and assisted-living services.

The project, which was initially announced by the Business Report in April as a $9 million project called Main Street Health and Rehabilitation, is expected to be complete in December 2013.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

In April, Columbine founder Bob Wilson said that about 90 new jobs will be created at the facility.

Fort Collins-based Drahota will complete the construction of the facility, which was designed by Vaught Frye Larson Architects, also of Fort Collins.
