Colorado foreclosure filings plunge 18 percent

Foreclosure filings in Colorado dropped 18.4 percent during 2016, with 9,158 cases.

The Denver Business Journal reports that Colorado ranks No. 37 in terms of number of filings per total number of houses. New Jersey came in at No. 1, meaning that it has the worst foreclosure rate nationwide, according to a report by Attom Data Solutions.

The reports states that foreclosure filings nationwide were at their lowest level since 2010.
