Chamber health care summit to feature insurers, hospital CEOs

The Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce has selected five panelists to speak at the upcoming Health Care in Your Future Summit.

Panelists will include Dr. James Sprowell, executive director of Associates in Family Medicine; Jim Sampson, employee benefits executive for Flood and Peterson Insurance; Kevin Unger, president and CEO of Poudre Valley Hospital; Yvonne Myers, director of Columbine Health Systems; and a representative from Tolmar Pharmaceuticals.

The chamber will hold its inaugural Health Care in Your Future Summit from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 28 at the Embassy Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.

Exploring & expressing grief

Support groups and events, as well as creative therapies and professional counseling, are all ways in which Pathways supports individuals dealing with grief and loss.

Rulon Stacey, CEO of the newly-formed University of Colorado Health, will deliver the keynote speech at the event. University of Colorado Health is the result of the joint operating agreement created between Poudre Valley Health System and University of Colorado Hospital.

Two breakout sessions will also be available at the summit, featuring discussions about senior care and changes to health insurance.
