CEO of Greeley-based Rice’s Honey invited to State of the Union address

One Northern Colorado small business owner will have a prominent seat for President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address tonight.

The Denver Post reports that Ronna Rice, CEO of Rice’s Lucky Clover Honey in Greeley will be one of about two dozen guests sitting near First Lady Michelle Obama. Rice was invited “to represent the interests of small business.” Rice’s is a 92-year-old family-owned company that exports honey to countries like Japan and China.
