Century Communities buys land in Dacono for single-family homes

DACONO — Greenwood Village-based homebuilder Century Communities Inc. has purchased 72 acres of land at Autumn Valley Ranch in Dacono, where it plans to build approximately 200 single-family homes.

Autumn Valley Ranch is a planned residential community at the northwest corner of Glen Creighton and Grand View boulevards and south of Dacono’s Clem DuFour Park in southwest Weld County.

Century Communities purchased the land July 20 for $1.1 million from the entity 2010-1 RADC/CADC Property IX LLC, according to public records.

Andy Boian, a spokesman for Century Communities, said the homebuilder has yet to establish a timeline to begin construction.

Founded in 2002, Century Communities has built or is planning to build single-family homes, townhomes and flats in Texas, Nevada, Georgia, Utah and Colorado, including Erie, Broomfield, Windsor, Loveland, Longmont and Fort Collins.
