Breeze Thru Car Wash owners add to Longmont holdings

LONGMONT — Jody and Emily Rouse, owners and operators of the Main Street Car Wash on North Main Street in Longmont since 1998, have sold the business to the owners of Breeze Thru Car Wash for $1.4 million.

The Rouses, who live in Berthoud, sold the 3,443-square-foot car wash at 2025 North Main through their company, EMR Holdings LLC, to John Agnew of Fort Collins, who used the entity BTLMS LLC.

Agnew’s family business owns Breeze Thru Car Wash locations at 1213 Ken Pratt Blvd. in Longmont; 1171 E. Mulberry in Fort Collins, 3417 W. 28th St. in Greeley and 2106 Dell Range, Cheyenne, Wyo.

Agnew opened the automated Breeze Thru Car Wash in Longmont in 2013.

The company’s concept features an automated tunnel car wash, through which vehicles pass while drivers are inside. The car washes provide free access to vacuums.

Agnew on Tuesday said he plans to continue to run the Main Street Car Wash with its current system until next summer when he plans to upgrade the facility. He said he will take the winter to determine how it will be upgraded.

The Rouses did not respond to a request for comments.

Commercial broker Jeffry Doran of Realtec Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. in Fort Collins represented the buyer and the seller.
