Boulder software firm JumpCloud raises $4.25M in new funding

BOULDER — Software company JumpCloud Inc. has raised $4.25 million toward a Series B round of funding, the Boulder firm disclosed in regulatory filing this week.

JumpCloud officials could not be reached for comment.

The filing made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission indicated that the total offering amount was $6 million, indicating that more funds could be on the way.

JumpCloud’s Directory-as-a-Service product helps companies authorize and manage the identities of their employees and the information-technology resources they need to access.

The latest funding follows a $3.2 million round raised last year for JumpCloud, which launched in 2012.
