Boulder hemp company snares USDA organic certification
BOULDER — CBDRx, an organic hemp company based in Boulder, said Wednesday it has received USDA organic certification for its recently harvested 120-acre hemp crop.
CBDRx specializes in the development, cultivation, processing and wholesale distribution of hemp-based CBD products, which may be used by the wellness, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.
CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, an element in hemp that recent research has shown to have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties without the psychoactive effects (the “high” or “stoned” feeling) that THC provides.
