Boulder firm documenting mall redevelopment in Fort Collins

BOULDER – Triple Threat Digital, a video production company based in Boulder, was hired by Alberta Development Partneres LLC of Greenwood Village to produce a video documenting the redevelopment process of the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Triple Threat is using time-lapse cameras, aerial videography and film to document the demolition and construction of the new mall. Demolition began in February.

Triple Threat Digital is led by Bruce Borowsky, who has been specializing in corporate videos for more than 20 years, and his partners Mike Scales, editor of the Academy-Award winning film The Cove, and scriptwriter Elisabeth Bowman.

Borowsky said he installed two time-lapse cameras on buildings neighboring the site, and his crew will film the process every month or two. The crew will interview developers, architects and local citizens as the project proceeds.

Triple Threat Digital will produce two videos, one five minutes long and one about 15 minute long. Alberta Development is expected to post the videos on its website and use them in marketing materials and at trade shows.
