Boulder County owes Colorado more than $800,000 due to accounting errors

Boulder County must repay more than $800,000 to the Colorado Department of Human Services due to accounting errors made by the state.

The Times-Call reports that the county was awarded an extra $822,484 from 2009 to 2014 toward local human services programs. The overpayments, the paper notes, were just some of $7 million-worth made throughout the state to various counties.
