Boulder council OKs zoning change near Boulder Community Hospital
The Boulder city council on Thursday night approved a zoning change to an area just east of Boulder Community Health to allow for more medical and dental offices near the hospital.
The Daily Camera reports that the vote, affecting an area primarily north of Arapahoe Avenue between Regal and Commerce streets, was unanimous. The area is currently zoned for industrial general use.
BCH last fall moved most of the operations from its Broadway campus to its Foothills campus northeast of the intersection of Arapahoe and Foothills Parkway, driving demand for more medical offices and other related uses in the east part of town.
