Boulder announces updated tax rates for 2015
BOULDER – The city of Boulder issued updated tax rates Tuesday in the wake of various increases recently approved by voters.
The city sales- and use-tax rate will be 3.86 percent, while the total county tax rate will be 0.985 percent. Voters approved an increase in city sales and use tax of 0.3 percent for city cultural facility and capital improvement program enhancements. A 0.185 percent increase for flood recovery efforts was voted in at the county level.
Effective Jan. 1, the following tax rates will apply within the city:
