Bohemian to award nearly $500,000 to nonprofits

FORT COLLINS – Bohemian Foundation on Thursday announced the names of its spring 2012 Pharos Fund recipients, organizations that will receive a combined $496,370.

Thirty-three local nonprofits will receive grants ranging from $2,000 to $30,000. Funds are given by Bohemian twice annually to organizations that provide programs or services that serve as a catalyst for public awareness or encourage youth to become productive members of society.

The Pharos Fund was established as the initial grant-making program for Bohemian Foundation, a private family fund established in 2001 by Pat Stryker.
