BlogMutt names Steve Pockross CEO
BOULDER — BlogMutt, a crowdsourced content-writing service, said Tuesday it has hired Steve Pockross as its chief executive officer, replacing co-founder and CEO Scott Yates, who will retain his role as chairman of the Boulder-based company.
Pockross was part of the early management team at crowdsourcing pioneer LiveOps, growing the company into the largest crowdsourced contact center in the world, according to a statement issued by BlogMutt. At LiveOps, Pockross served as vice president of business development and strategy. He also served in marketing, strategy and operational leadership roles at Tendril, Western Union, CallAssistant and HSBC.
BlogMutt, co-founded in 2011 by Yates and Wade Green to provide clients with writing services for marketing strategies, has a network of more than 10,000 U.S.-based writers creating original content for its clients.
