Blogger raises questions about Loveland mayor’s email use

Loveland Mayor Cecil Gutierrez has drawn scrutiny this week as it relates to his use of a personal email account.

The Reporter-Herald reports that blogger Liam Weston filed an open records request, alleging that Gutierrez had been inappropriately conducting city business through the personal account, specifically about development of Sprouts Farmer’s Market and the Regional Tourism Act board.

Gutierrez told the paper that he has sent all of the emails in question to the city clerk, and denied any wrongdoing.
