Bishop, Covert to keynote Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference

BOULDER — Paul Bishop, vice president of research for the National Association of Realtors, and John Covert, regional director for Metrostudy, a group that provides analysis for residential real estate markets, will deliver keynote speeches at BizWest’s annual Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference & Forecast in November.

Bishop’s talk, titled The View from Washington, will cover national trends for the mortgage and housing markets and the outlook for the economy overall, and how they will compare with Colorado and the Boulder Valley.

Covert, who focuses on residential markets in Colorado and New Mexico will deliver The View from Denver, focusing on Colorado’s white-hot housing market providing what the numbers show for the state, and what the outlook is for 2016.

The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Glenn Miller Ballroom.

The conference includes several panels made of up local industry leaders that will provide forecasts for local commercial and residential markets, a look at future construction projects in Boulder Valley and how politics is affecting the real estate industry.

Attendees can earn six continuing credits from Van Ed.
