Biolife plans plasma-donation center in Longmont

LONGMONT — Biolife Plasma Services wants to build a plasma-donation center at the east end of Harvest Junction North, a shopping center Longmont.

According to city planning documents, the donation center would be 16,692 square feet in size and located north of East Ken Pratt Boulevard and east of Martin Street.

BioLife Plasma Services collects plasma that is processed into life-saving plasma-based therapies. It operates numerous plasma-collection facilities throughout the United States and Austria. It recently opened one at 251 W. 65th St. in Loveland.
