Bhakti Chai taps Sarah Bird to take over CEO role

BOULDER — Sarah Bird has been appointed chief executive at Bhakti Chai, a Boulder-based maker of premium chai and teas, replacing founder and CEO Brook Eddy, who will remain as chairwoman of the board of directors, the company announced earlier this month.

“As Bhakti continues to rapidly expand nationwide, it is vital that we hire a seasoned CPG (consumer packaged goods) veteran to lead our brand to the next level of growth,” Eddy said in a prepared statement.
