Betsey Hale leaving post as Loveland economic development director
Loveland economic development director Betsey Hale is leaving the city for a post as president of the Three Rivers Development Foundation in Corning, N.Y.
The Reporter-Herald reports that Hale handed in her resignation on Monday and will remain with the city through Oct. 16. Hale grew up in the Corning area and is moving back in part to be closer to her aging parents.
Hale had served in her current role since Loveland created its economic development department in 2011, and before that served as the city’s business development manager for five years.
