Bestop Inc. moves HQ from Broomfield to Louisville

LOUISVILLE – Bestop Inc., a manufacturer of interior and exterior accessories for Jeeps and other four-wheel drive vehicles, recently moved its headquarters from Broomfield to a larger space in Louisville.

Bestop, a division of Canada-based Magna International Inc. (NYSE: MGA), leased 112,000 square feet of office and industrial space at 333 Centennial Parkway in Louisville to house its management team and distribution center.

Jeff Green, a controller at Magna International, said the move was made to accommodate growth in sales that required more space for the distribution center and more people to run it. The number of people Bestop employs in Louisville was not available Wednesday.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

Bestop had moved its manufacturing operations in Broomfield to Mexico in early 2010, but maintained its corporate offices in Broomfield.

David Hazlett of Colliers International represented Bestop. Chris Ball, Brandon Ray, Alec Rhodes, Tyler Smith and Aaron Valdez of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord, Neoserv, in the lease deal that was signed in May.
