Berthoud schedules meetings to discuss town’s boundaries

BERTHOUD — Public meetings have been scheduled for May 27, June 2 and June 4 to gather comments on growth-management area boundaries defined by the Town of Berthoud Comprehensive Plan and the town’s intergovernmental agreement with Larimer County.

According to a media release from town officials, the ultimate goal of the meetings is to establish a singular growth-management boundary that would be recognized by both the town and county as well as residents and property owners. A secondary goal will be to define procedures and practices for developing properties within the agreed-upon boundaries.

Each of the meetings will focus on specific geographic areas. Residents are invited to attend any of the scheduled meetings regardless of the region being discussed.
