BBB names new board chair, member

FORT COLLINS – The Better Business Bureau Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming has selected a new chairman and treasurer as well as a new member of its board of directors to serve through 2016.

Rich Pearson, regional president at Guaranty Bank and Trust Company, will serve as the new chairman of the nonprofit’s board for 2014-2016. Connie Dohn, vice president of Dohn Construction Inc. will serve as the treasurer of the board. Both Pearson and Dohn previously served as board members.

Jeannine Truswell, CEO of United Way of Weld County, was appointed as a new board member.

Tyler Notestine, owner and partner of Thomas & Tyler LLC, is leaving his position as BBB chairman. Bonnie Dean and Associates President Bonnie Dean also is leaving the BBB board after 12 years of service at the local and national levels.

The BBB Board of Directors sets BBB policies and is responsible for approval or revocation of BBB Accredited Businesses.

Continuing BBB Board members are:

>Jeff Nuttall, publisher of BizWest Media LLC in Fort Collins;
>Corkie Odell, co-owner of Odell Brewing Co. Inc. in Fort Collins;
>Mona Pearl, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Align in Cheyenne, Wyo.;
>Rayno Seaser, president of The Egg & I Restaurants in Fort Collins;
>Charlie Tomlinson, business director of Pinnacol Assurance in Denver; and
>Kevin Unger, CEO of Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.

Ex-officio board members are Pam King, CEO of BBB Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming, and Zachary Wilson, legal counsel for The Wilson Law Firm PC in Fort Collins.
