Bank of Colorado opens new branches in Greeley, Longmont

GREELEY — Fort Collins-based Bank of Colorado has been on a branch-opening spree in recent weeks, with new sites in Greeley and Longmont among the latest to open for business.

Bank of Colorado conducted a soft opening Sept. 22 at its new branch at 7017 10th St. in Greeley, with a grand opening slated for Nov. 16. The Longmont branch at 636 Coffman St., meanwhile, opened last week and held a grand opening on Tuesday of this week.

Along with a new branch opening in Colorado Springs last week, the new locations give Bank of Colorado 40 branches statewide. A re-opening of a branch in Glenwood Springs that built a new building is planned for next week. Bank of Colorado has more than $3 billion in combined assets.

The new Greeley branch is Bank of Colorado’s second in the city.  The bank broke ground on the new 11,820-square-foot, two-story building last fall. Bank of Colorado is occupying the first floor, with plans to lease the office space on the second floor to other tenants.

Paul Knapp will lead the new nine-employee branch as branch president, transferring from Bank of Colorado’s branch at 3459 W. 20th St., where Lisa Hopkins serves as branch manager.

The Longmont location, being led by branch manager Karis Harmon, is smaller at 2,934 square feet on the first floor of the Roosevelt Place building, and it replaces a Home State Bank branch that moved from the space to 351 Coffman St.
