Attention Homes’ executive director resigns

BOULDER – Jim Rianoshek has resigned as executive director of Attention Homes, a nonprofit agency in Boulder that operates a shelter for youth.

Rianoshek, who guided the nonprofit for nearly 11 years, said it was “time that I turn it over to our next leader.”

As the organization’s board of directors searches for a new executive director, Claire Clurman, a senior manager and six-year employee of the agency, will be leading Attention Homes on a day to day basis.

Attention Homes served more than 700 youth in 2013 through street outreach, day drop-in and overnight shelter services in addition to a licensed residential program. A fully-funded shelter renovation and expansion project was also completed this past year.
