Inergy Networks offers local DSL

ENGLEWOOD — Inergy Networks Inc., an Englewood-based Internet service provider, has expanded its digital subscriber line services to include clients in Longmont, Boulder, Fort Collins and Greeley.

“The majority of ISP customers are unhappy with the level of service they’re provided,´ said Mark Muehlberg, president of Inergy, which incorporated in December 1999 and went online in late March. “The market is wide-open, and the differentiating factor is service and support — not the market itself.”

Inergy is a reseller of U S West DSL services and is not a facility-based provider like recent Northern Colorado DSL entrants Jato Communications Corp. and New Edge Networks, which independently control lines along U S West’s infrastructure.

Inergy has no plans to establish sales offices in the region, but Muehlberg said the four Northern Colorado cities are only a starting point for a growing service territory. “We will expand coverage throughout Colorado and possibly into some other states as demand warrants,” he said.
