Anadarko Petroleum reports $1 billion 3Q profit
Anadarko Petroleum Corp.’s (NYSE: APC) earnings rose to $1.1 billion during the third quarter compared with $182 million during the same quarter last year.
Anadarko, one of the top oil and natural-gas producers in Weld County, said its third-quarter oil sales volumes averaged 189,000 barrels of oil equivalent in the Wattenberg field, which includes territory in Weld County. The company averaged 101,000 barrels of oil equivalent during the third quarter of last year.
Anadarko posted revenue of $5 billion during the third quarter, up from $3.9 billion during the same quarter a year earlier.
