In Colorado, 1 in 3 women, 1 in 3 men and 1 in 2 transgender individuals will experience an attempted or completed sexual assault in their lifetime. During April, we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the hopes of increasing conversations about this very important issue.

Anadarko has spent an estimated $150,000 on additional in-kind efforts such as providing potable water to Weld County and hotel rooms and gift cards to displaced families. It also has provided portable toilets, helicopter tours for elected officials and other key personnel. It has also fixed fences and hired a crew to clean a neighborhood street in Boulder.

Spending is likely to grow as recovery efforts continue, Olsen said.
