American Petroleum Institute to open Denver office
DENVER – The American Petroleum Institute is opening a Denver office that will focus on statewide oil and natural-gas issues, including hydraulic fracturing and energy infrastructure.
API has hired Tracee Bentley, former legislative director and senior advisor on energy and agricultural issues for Gov. John Hickenlooper, to lead API’s new office as executive director. Bentley previously served as deputy director of policy and legislative affairs for the Colorado Energy Office.
Washington, D.C.,-based API has more than 625 members and represents all segments of the U.S. oil and natural gas industry.
