Aleph Objects leads 28 local companies on Inc. 5000 list

Twenty-eight companies from the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado made this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, with Loveland-based Aleph Objects leading the way locally.

Released Wednesday, Inc. magazine’s list ranks companies based on three-year revenue growth from 2012 to 2015.

Aleph, which makes the Lulzbot line of 3-D desktop printers, ranked 122nd, second-highest among all Colorado firms to make thelist this year behind Aurora-based Redefy Real Estate at No. 103.

Aleph posted 2015 revenue of $15.1 million, a 2,782-percent increase from 2012. In addition to ranking second in Colorado, that growth ranked Aleph No. 1 nationally in the Computer Hardware industry.

Los Angeles-based Loot Crate — which mails subscribers monthly themed gift boxes of gadgets, art and apparel — took the top spot overall, with $116.2 million in 2015 revenue and three-year growth of 66,789 percent.
